Meridian Aikido

Meridian students grading for 3rd kyu and above (or sooner if they elect to) are required either a written piece on an aspect of aikido, or answer questions on the philosophy and history of aikido at the end of their grading. The written work could be something as simple as a writing about a visit to another dojo, or something more esoteric. Here are a selection of past submissions by Meridian students. The work does not necesssarily represent the views of Meridian Aikido, but rather is evidence of the necessity for students to explore more than just the physical forms of the art.
