Shodan ( 1 Dan )
The grading consists of 6th - 1st Kyu . Demonstrations of weapons Katas, set pieces . Then anything the panel wants to see you perform. also expected : demonstrations of your own choice and maybe some teaching. ( not a lot.....)

Teaching
After acceptance of interest and the level of Blue Belt, Meridian Aikido can make you an Assistant instructor.

Under the supervision of a registered Instructor you are able to take a class.

Within Bushido Za Zen you will be given a Mentor for training

At the appropriate time you will be given an examination within Bushido Za Zen.

ALL INSTRUCTORS OF MERIDIAN AIKIDO ARE QUALIFIED THROUGH BUSHIDO ZA ZEN & INSURED TO £2.000.000 COVER.
